Welcome to Family Skate Camp
Family Skate Camp started in 2018 when interest from parents and siblings of Y Skate Camp campers prompted us to offer the same opportunities and programs to the whole family. Now the whole family can skate, enjoy the outdoors, and experience the magic of Y Skate Camp together!
To us at the YMCA, skateboarding is a tool to bring people and families together as we embrace the skills, music, art, and culture that make up the skateboarding community. At Family Skate Camp, families get to embrace and share with each other a culture and set of values that transcends generations of skateboarding.
What to expect at Family Skate Camp?
Families will get to stay in a cabin or bring an RV or tent and enjoy an amazing experience in the great outdoors. Get to know your neighbors and make lasting friendships with other skate families, while strengthening your own family bonds.
Skate programming is available every day and includes opportunities such as skating on our amazing parks and ramps, visiting our art shed to build a board or create a skate ring, learning survival skills from Skate Wild, and more! For those that need a break from skating, other activities are available as well, such as hiking, swimming, fishing, archery, campfire programs, and more.

Our 13 rustic cabins call to nature lovers who enjoy something a little studier than a tent and sleeping bag. Each cabin contains 4 bunk-style beds. Cost includes meals and camp-sponsored activities. Trips to the national park or nearby destinations outside the Y have their own fees or costs.

$375 additional camper fee
With 5 designated tent spots and 2 RV / Camper spots across our lakes shoreline you just need to bring your gear to camp with us! All activities are included. (hookups are not available) Cost includes meals and camp-sponsored activities. Trips to the national park or nearby destinations outside the Y have their own fees or costs.
