Donations

YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake has been serving youth and families for over a century, and as a non-profit 501c(3) CHARITY we rely on contributions to help sustain our programs and ensure that our impacts are here for the next generation.

The Giving Forest

The Giving Forest is a donor recognition system we created inspired by the sequoia trees near us. The Giving Forest celebrates our donors, as their generosity sustains and nurtures our mission to serve our youth and community. Through newsletters, campaigns, and other communications, we proudly recognize our donors by using this system, honoring their contributions and celebrating their role in supporting our growth and development.

Current Campaigns

Campership Fund

Each year our camp friends and alumni raise more than $130,000, every penny of which is offered in financial assistance to more than 322 campers, ensuring that no child is denied the camp experience because of financial circumstance.

Sequoia Village Capital Fund

As we continue to update these facilities to ensure we can provide a safe and impactful environment for our campers we are seeking $500,000 in community donations to achieve our 3 phase strategic master plan.

Tulequoia Capital Fund

As we strive to maintain and improve our facilities at Family Camp we are committed to improving each campers experience year after year.

Fish Fund

As stewards of Sequoia Lake we strive to maintain a healthy lake that can provide great fishing opportunities for all. Every year we replenish our trout population and have also worked on reducing our small mouth bass population to allow them to grow to a bigger healthier size while giving our baby trout a chance to survive. Donations to our Fish Fund directly support the sustainment of fishing resources for all of our campers.

Millwood Skate Capital Fund

Years of youth camping has lead to wear and tear of our ramps. This capital fund will directly impact the experience that our skate youth have by providing them safe courses during their stay.
